| This West African team, also known as 'The Hawks' have managed to achieve their ambition of qualifying for their first ever World Cup in 2006. Although they are a strong team and easily advanced through the qualifying rounds this time, somehow they've consistently failed to obtain a place in the finals on previous occasions. Angola and Zimbabwe have been the stumbling block on numerous occasions for Togo, stopping them in their quest to ensure an identity as one of the great teams on an International stage.
